IMPORTANT! -
Visa Requirements - UPDATE!
IPES has been informed that a new decision has been made by the Government of the Republic of Macedonia, specifically referring to visas being issued at the airport as originally planned. This, as the Government states, has been a main issue of concern for the European Union and the Government has been put under close monitoring as to how they shall resolve this issue and what we shall do in this regard.
Therefore, the Visa Center within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Sector of Foreigneers within the Ministry of Interior for the Republic of Macedonia will NOT be able to issue visas for any of the participants upon arrival at the airport, meaning that each atteendee of the conference will need to make arrangements to obtain their own visas prior to coming to the meeting.
We have sent letters to all participants that will be needing a visa informing them of this change. The best way to expedite receiving your visa is to send your passport and documents via DHL or FEDEX to the Embassy or consular representative office of the Republic of Macedonia covering the visa issuance in your country, you do not need to go there personnally but you will have to go and pick up the visas yourself.
Hopefully this small change will not be an inconvenience for anyone. If you have any questions or need assistance, please do not hesitate to contact Mintie or Libby at the following emails.
