The International Police Executive Symposium (IPES) brings police researchers and practitioners together to facilitate cross-cultural, international and interdisciplinary exchanges for the enrichment of the policing profession. It encourages discussions and writing on challenging topics of contemporary importance through an array of initiatives including conferences and publications.

The registration fee covers the cost of accommodations, meals, special dinners and lunches, sightseeing, cultural programs, and transportation to and from the airport as well as throughout Cincinnati. The fee subsidizes logistics-related and administrative costs of the meeting including publicity materials and administrative support. The fee also includes a one-year, five-issue subscription to Police Practice and Research: An International Journal (PPR). Participants’ papers that are accepted are published in a book and/or a Special Issue of PPR. Participants receive an Executive Summary of the conference deliberations.
