The International Police Executive Symposium (IPES) brings police researchers and practitioners together to facilitate cross-cultural, international and interdisciplinary exchanges for the enrichment of the policing profession. It encourages discussions and writing on challenging topics of contemporary importance through an array of initiatives including conferences and publications.


Meeting Registration

REGISTERING FOR THE MEETING IS A THREE STEP PROCESS.

After you have sucessfully sent your registration payment, complete the registration form at the bottom of this page and click on the "submit form" buttom at the end to send your registration information to IPES.

Step Three: SEND COPY OF BIO AND PHOTO
Please submit a photo (jpeg or pdf) and bio (500 words-bios may be edited) to Dr. Darryl Plecas at darryl.plecas@ufv.ca as soon as possible to be included in the IPES 2011 Program Directory.

Complete the payment selection below and send your administrative fees to IPES. Scroll down this page to the "PAYMENT SECTION". Click on the correct "Pay Now" button to electronically send your and or your spouse's registration fees to IPES. If you are registering more than one person, each registration fee has to be submitted separately. This transaction is managed by Paypal and is performed on a secure website. Most major credit cards are accepted.

WHAT YOUR REGISTRATION FEE COVERS:
Once successfully registered, you will receive free and full hospitality. This includes internal transportation, hotel accommodations, all meals, excursions to criminal justice and police institutions, sightseeing trips, and cultural entertainment at no extra cost to the participant.

In addition, you will receive a free subscription to Police Practice and Research: An International Journal which costs approximately $500 for an institution to subscribe to.

All participants and their organizations are invited to contribute to the book of proceedings which will be published after the meeting and all contributors will get a copy of the book (worth $100 or more). Besides, all IPES meeting participants are offered generous discounts for buying IPES books (See Publication Section in the web site). They are allowed discounts on advertisements online in the IPES web site and in the brochure that will be published as the Program Directory of the meeting.

Kindly note: Hotel is paid for from arrival on June 26, 2011 thru departure on July 1, 2011. Participants arriving before June 26th, 2011 or departing after July 1st, 2011 are required to cover their own accommodation expenses. Those needing extra hotel days should contact the hotel for discounted hotel rates.

Also, due to financial commitments and obligations on the part of IPES, refunds will not be permitted on or after April 30th, 2011. For all refunds, a processing fee of $100 will be withheld from the refunded amount for each attendee, spouse, significant other, or child that a refund is issued to.

PAYMENT SECTION

Paypal Transaction Fees
Paypal charges a small percentage of each transaction for using their service. This fee is reflected on the transaction as a tax and IPES has no control over this fee.

This is the registration fee that all Attendees should use to register for the annual IPES meeting.



Spouses & Associates Registration Fee - $750.00
This discounted registration fee is for Spouses, IPES Institutional Supporters, PPR Editors, and IPES Directors.



Director Annual Fee ($260.00)
IPES Directors are required to pay an annual fee to maintain their status as an active director.
